چکیده
Tuberculous Spondylitisis a secondary infectious disease of the spine that often occurs, from some literature it is found almost half all scletal tuberculosis sufferers are Spondylitis. Until now, management Spondylitis still controversial due to high clinical variation The Medical Research Council United Kingdom (MRC, London) recommends using 6-month regimen isoniazid and rifampicin as standard therapy for tuberculous spondylitis, but this study did not include patients with three or more spinal cord injuries. This aims assess outcome posterior fusion technique on degree kyphosis, neurological deficits vertebral body in spondylitis patients. type research an observational analytic, cross-sectional approach analyze effect kyphosis before after intervention. Posterior lumbar interbody fusion and posterior instrumentation in the surgical management of lumbar tuberculous spondylitis.
There are few reports of the treatment of lumbar tuberculous spondylitis using the posterior approach. Between January 1999 and February 2004, 16 patients underwent posterior lumbar interbody fusion with autogenous iliac-bone grafting and pedicle screw instrumentation. Their mean age at surgery was 51 years (28 to 66). The mean follow-up period was 33 months (24 to 48). The clinical outcome was...
متن کاملThe Effects of Posterior Spinal Fusion in Patients with Limitations of Anterior Approach: The Experience of Six Cases
Background & Importance: Spinal deformity is one of the most common disorders among the vertebral diseases that results from unnatural curvatures of spine, such as scoliosis and kyphosis. Spinal fusion surgery is used most commonly to treat certain types of spinal deformity. Herein, we reported the efficacy of posterior spinal fusion accompanied by instrumentation in patients with the...
متن کاملRemifentanil versus dexmedtomidine for posterior spinal fusion surgery
Background: Controlling the hemodynamic situation of patients who have spinal operation is of prime importance, and maintaining the heart rate and blood pressure in normal or low- normal levels in these patients can reduce their bleeding loss. One of the commonly used drugs for this purpose is remifentanil. Another sedative-hypnotic-analgesic drug, with acceptable effects is dexmedetomidine. ...
